I agree. Great work on the splash screen!

    [1.7.10] Twisted Realms [Tech/Magic/Over 20 Dimensions/Mystcraft/Nevermine/Aether II]

If I had to chose one over the other, Aether II would be it. I am pretty ambivalent about either one (plenty of content as there is), but Aether II would be the best fit, IMO.

    [1.7.10] Twisted Realms [Tech/Magic/Over 20 Dimensions/Mystcraft/Nevermine/Aether II]

The spawn behavior you noted is the result of the mod author of AoA (Nevermine), XolovA, not StarV, the modpack creator. With AoA, use half slabs to stop spawning. Avoid building bases in Taiga (an AoA mob, the Skolle, will teleport a distance through walls/ceilings). If you build underground...

Botania and Thaumcraft have solutions for automated mob farming, Botania would probably be the best route.

Which speaks to my point about the other mods (in this case Tinkers ranged weapons) breaking the progression, though I am not saying you could not do it with just stuff from vanilla (like your Notch apple), I am sure its perfectly doable. You used one of the recommend armor sets for it as well...

goraee is working on that, there is currently a book you can make in game that has the start of the skill explanations (book surrounded by four limonite ingots, I believe). Most wikis are volunteer efforts. The post right before yours indicates the wiki has been updated with the latest info...

Something the modpack devs should consider when thinking about the balance of Tinkers weapons (especially the ranged ones) vs. AoA weapons is that depending on the combo of AoA weapon/enchantments and armor, specifically the Moon Maker sniper (37.5 hearts) with Shell III (+60%) enchant and...

I mostly agree with you on the on this; borderline exception would be the KAMI robes. From what I have seen, there is a lot of armor sets in AoA that are very situational in nature, while the KAMI robes combine features of several sets (and have features outside of those sets as well) while only...

I agree. The Journeymap radar nerfs AoA a great deal as well, as you have a lot more ability to chose to engage or not than you would without it. I like to keep within the confines of packs as their creator designed them. So, I have started a new hardcore play through, where my only tinkers...

I will agree that Tinkers make the AoA weapons progression pointless. I do hardcore playthroughs, and in this pack the order of operation is: 1. Solve food problem (three berry types, snow and a pumpkin and i am set, usually just head to the ocean and boat around avoiding pinchers until i...

    [Solved!] The crimson inventory hue

It happens in Departed (and other packs); while outside during the day, while in sight of some clouds in the sky, open your inventory. You will notice that cloud darkens over the course of a couple seconds. Close the inventory, and it takes a similar amount of time to brighten back up. I have...

Closed 1.0.0: Tinkers Construct Javelin issues.

Version: 1.0.0 What is the bug: Javelins with moss will restore missing javelins (thrown) until at max capacity, but the green damage bar still remains and never disappears. Edit: After further play, it does not appear that melee damage is repaired at all, only replenishment of javelin numbers...

if you go on the minecraft forum post for the mod, lots of info there. I seem to recall talk of one of the events being bugged currently. http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1286381-aoa-18-new-dimensions-300-mobs-27-bosses-450-items

One bit of advice: half slab your base unless you want to spam torches far more than you would normally. AoA mobs will spawn in higher light levels than vanilla mobs. This is especially important underground.

    Glowstone Shortage

Spending three diamonds on a diamond dolly, you can move several Witchery witch spawners (throw a zombie spawner in there for good measure) into a mob trap. From the drops, you can, for starters): -Power reactant dynamos (glowstone, redstone, gunpowder) -Power zombie generators (flesh and...
