    Applied Energistics

Just watched Dire's spotlight, this looks amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. I want it inside me. Finally let me kick redpower to the curb, can't stand rp. Why is everyone bitching about the miniscule amount of power required?

[Poll] Do you prefer TE or IC2? Why?

Haha... crops are the only IC2 thing I still use, I swear by them and push all new players towards them. I actually have a sign by the spawn farm "taters + crops = food solved"

[Poll] Do you prefer TE or IC2? Why?

Ugh, winced just reading that. Yea, I'm over IC2, for just that reason. Different strokes for different folks... I just don't think it's fun. I also think Quantum.. let alone Gravi is just really op; not trying to start a fight just stating my personal reasons. I like to do a hybrid approach...

[Poll] Do you prefer TE or IC2? Why?

Well, the buildcraft pipes give a brilliant visual indicator, and take a while. The Thaumcraft flux.... that's a fair point, but I honestly won't criticize because it can be fixed... it's not IMMEDIATE, and it makes sense.Whereas you're absent-minded for one second and destroy a HV...

[Poll] Do you prefer TE or IC2? Why?

Haha, I have most definitely done that my friend :) But see that's another example of what I'm saying; IC2 griefs you, and I think there's more than enough of that in the game as is.

[Poll] Do you prefer TE or IC2? Why?

I understand all that, I've been playing with IC for quite a while, I simply disagree with the mechanic. The game already has the greatest "haha you slipped up / forgot something for 1 second and now I'm going to undo 10 hours of work" mechanic in creepers, doesn't need a second. It's anti-fun...

[Poll] Do you prefer TE or IC2? Why?

I prefer TE because it plays well with others, it's incredibly well thought out and interconnected, "it just works", it keeps getting better, and a lot of IC2 stuff feels cheaty to me. Plus I loathe the machine block if not wrenched mechanic SO much, just hate it. Yes I'm aware of lossless...

    Blutric loss through adjoining machines?

    K. First of all, praise Elo for blutric engines, they made this easy. Due to the steady-state nature of thermopiles and the blutric system as a whole I think this is actually pretty definitive; there IS equal loss. Test method: set up, run it to a redstone cell via blutric engine, turn on, let...

    Blutric loss through adjoining machines?

Fair enough, could be done in a few minutes, was just curious if anyone knew offhand. Brb with results

    Blutric loss through adjoining machines?

I want to make some thermopile towers, is there loss through machines comparable to that lost through cabling?
