If you're using a pack with dye trees you could farm pink dye trees.

I just updated my ftb monster pack to v1.0.11 and there's a new slot in the blast furnace GUI. Can someone please tell me what goes in the new slot since i cant make more HSLA steel without it.

How about using the power for a massive particle accelerator that can make various things? And i know it may be a bit cliche after uu, but energy -> matter is about the only thing i can think off that could realistically take that much power. Alternatively maybe the only way to destroy harmful...

ive found that using a touch based dig spell instead of a pick works wonders for getting xp, especially if ur trying to do some landscaping, that way the xp becomes an extra byproduct

Yep, they are both on the same network. Although, I play on a server if that makes a difference.

If im using a gateway to travel large distances do both ends have to be chunkloaded? The one i have set up doesnt seem to recognise that the other exists. Thanks to anyone who can help.
