firewall config... that's not a simple question to answer and would require more in depth discussion. In short FTB itself doesn't have a firewall. YOUR machine could have one. The SERVER your connecting to could. But FTB itself doesn't.

I would add some kind of upgrade to deep storage so that you could add a visual representation of the count and item on the outside of a block. Similar to the barrel or other storage monitors. :p It can be frustrating sometimes to put vanilla signs on the outside of the block to label it.

i had that issue as well once. Before you launch it you have to download the map from the map/texture tap. I know it's a little weird but that should do the trick

Yes that is how they count but that is like comparing apples to oranges and doesn't take into account actual size. So my math is broken down by per block because even if it counts only the inside, the total volume can still be represented by a per block ratio

You can access the ae chest like a chest as long as it has power without using a terminal. It just needs a drive to designate space

There are other alternatives out there. Logistics Pipes being one; and one that I'm not sure why is not in the pack. Draconic Evolution has some interesting chests options. I wasn't referring to Ender IO though it does have... an interesting sorting system. Even if the filters are limited...

I was wondering just more hooking up a deep storage by itself not the ssd. I hooked a storage bus to a deep storage and it doesn't put anything into it, or take it out as far as I can tell... the number is constant.
