I dunno, IIRC you only need one Ender Pearl per chest, and you only need two chests... In my experience it hasn't been insanely hard to find Endermen overall, and they seem to drop Pearls fairly regularly. If nothing else, like you said, you can just use 4 iron to get one from the Minium Stone.

Get a Nether lava pump going with 5+ geothermals and you should be able to crank out UU-matter pretty fast. Also, if you run a quarry, just have it feed all the dirt/gravel/sand/cobble into some recyclers (just one works for me with a full-speed quarry and 5 overclocker upgrades) to speed up...

Weird, it was missing an HD texture for me but it wasn't invisible...just the default texture.
