More efficient/completely safe nuclear reactor setups?

Until I gave up and started centrifuging lava I couldn't afford a nuclear reactor between everything else going on :( I have noone to blame but myself for that

More efficient/completely safe nuclear reactor setups?

Edit: post aimed at omnicrons revenge you could save yourself like.. 2 gold bars and some other things if you change the non-capped overclocked heat vent into a basic heat vent ;) MilconDoin's build with as little excess as I could manage...

More efficient/completely safe nuclear reactor setups?

So like a dense ores world, but with only copper?

Is it better to macerate or use fortune III?

You should never convert diamond dust into whole diamonds if you have enough diamonds without. on my server we really burn through diamonds so fast, while always using dust (that I just make manually as required) every now and then to tweak the electricity systems in place or make more iridium...

More efficient/completely safe nuclear reactor setups?

I can tell you that it is possible, as far as I'm aware gregtech adds tools to allow you to place items in certain places in an inventory automatically - although I have no real experience with it as it doesn't appeal to me. You would have to look into it, but I've heard it being done. IC2...

More efficient/completely safe nuclear reactor setups?

Condensators have a charge and need to be replenished (very frequently on a high EU design) using redstone/lapis. They are possible but they are not 0 cooldown since you are effectively taking cells out and replacing them for the cooldown. To see this go to the condensator information page...

Is it better to macerate or use fortune III?

Most gems that can proc on fortune are best fortuned because gregtechs implosion compressor will reduce the amount you effectively gain. Personally I don't need anywhere near as many diamonds as diamond dust so fortune is just more convenient as well.

    Your initial reaction

Honestly, wouldn't care that much. Maybe I'd pop on just to get to know some of them better but that's about it.

    Defeating the ender dragon

I found the old system ridiculous. 50 levels on the old scale (level 10 back then took longer than level 30 now, nothing from ores etc.) with no increased chance for 2 enchants on tools @ max!

    Defeating the ender dragon

At that point of in the game it's redundant :P Not sure what the point would be when one likely has some form of energy giving them 4k+ eu/t

    Defeating the ender dragon

That's an insane cost for a few crystals in the end. 4 AESU's + other materials, you wouldn't be able to actually make it before it's redundant unless it's putting out say... 2k + for the crystals ><

    Nuclear vs Solar... dafuq?

I think they just call them SUC

Am I the only one who likes the gregtech recipes?

Nothing to do with gregtech. The railcraft blast furnace is still ingame and works, the industrial blast furnace is just an alternative option. Before you say traincraft - you can use refined iron instead of steel for recipes, which is a fair alternative considering how easy to make the steel...

    Defeating the ender dragon

If you enchant the item question instead of just a book then you increase your chance significantly - so enchanting bows for infinite. It's still a fairly rare enchant so you will probably want some form of exp grinder, whether this be a natural spawner, vanilla, soulshard, just running around...

Am I the only one who likes the gregtech recipes?

anything which lets you carry things across dimensions is going to break key mechanics generally. Goes for both mystcraft and enderchests.

Can the intrusiveness of GregTech be reigned in?

Methane got nerfed and people still use it People still use lava without the nether/magma crucibles People still use windmills and watermills People rarely (if ever) complain about nitrofuel Bringing things back in line with oil that frankly got gutted by newer mods is not giving you...

Am I the only one who likes the gregtech recipes?

He nerfed lava centrifuging in latest build to be less 'free stuff'
