Also if you like this particular version, Ultimate is universal, it has all the mods FTB has to offer. I use it for my DW20 map.

I agree, but I did put in the 64x thaumcraft updates in my 32x pack and they worked fine. They're only a few of them, and they are small. If it was something like any of the larger machines, or other larger textures it would have had different and unfortunate results on my laptop's limited memory.

Some of us play on laptops, or older computers. 32x is the best we can have and run the game optimally. Some of us also like the feel of less resolution, it still feels like Minecraft. I play the game on my laptop, I am on the road a lot.

I dunno, it just took a while for me. But I got it, and it works just fine. Though I am still having that Optifine/glitched out Zombie Pig man problem.

I need 32x also. i can run 64x, but it's sluggish as hell. I am currently using Faithful 32x (which is updated and has Ultimate), but I prefer the look of Sphax.

Exactly, spot on Xeonen. I personally don't like the mod. I play FTB and Minecraft after 10-12 hours of work, I like coming home to relax to an enjoyable game that lets me unwind. I find Gregtech spoils a lot of that for me, I hardly would call myself a "sissy". This is why I play the DW20 pack...
