    Aluminium vs Aluminum

Aluminum is Xycraft, you'd have to ask Soaryn if it's intentional it doesn't appear to play well in the Forge ore dictionary, and it's only uses are foil cans for liquid dyes, water, and lava and for upgrading Sulfur Torches.

New to some of these mods...what mod adds...

Er, Factorization does not have Lead Ore. It has Silver Ore in large veins meant to be processed in Factorization machines to get both Lead and Silver out of it. I'm pretty sure all Copper, Tin, Silver, and Lead (and of course Ferrous) generation in the two up to date packs are controlled by...

    Direwolf20 Mod Pack Thaumcraft Setup

Wow, lots of color. Can you actually access the chest the Wooden Golem is assigned to? I didn't think consider that Xychoridite blocks' behavior could mean they don't block chests.

    Ore Generation

Yep. I would recommend basing your settings around Thermal Expansion in the Mindcrack pack, as I said earlier, as it's designed to put the ores at certain levels rather than all close to bedrock, and is balanced with the goal of making players have to make choices on which tech trees or...

    Issue with power.

Mindcrack Pack, you didn't update to v6? Without the NEI Plugins mod, the Rolling Machine recipes don't show up in NEI. The plates are made in the Rolling Machine.

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

One major advantage with golems is that they require no power for upkeep, so it's just a one-time setup cost. If you have Crystal Clusters and thus your Aura is renewable, farming golems are cheap to set up. You can then use the fuel/power power you save elsewhere.

I can't decide where to live!

Both the Mindcrack and Direwolf packs have both Xycraft and Thaumcraft. Mindcrack is probably closer to the Beta Pack A with more stuff added in. Direwolf is missing a few things, though with GregTech, many people see that as a good thing.

I can't decide where to live!

Build your floors out of any Xychoridite blocks, your walls out of Xychoridite Plates or Shields or Thaumcraft Warded Stone (creeper-proof), use a Warded Door, and make sure you don't build your house in such a way that a Aura Node is inside it and you will never have mob troubles inside your...

    Gregtech IC² Power

For the Carbon Cells, you can combine it with 4 Hydrogen Cells to make 4 Methane Cells... though at the loss of 1 cell.

    Automatic Humus contraption

So... considering what I think you're trying to accomplish, I have a question. Why not skip the Hummus and just use a self-fueling Steve's Carts tree farm instead? Pretty sure it can achieve the compact-ness you're wanting.

    Suggest Mods for FTB Here

I don't think a mod with automatic random mass griefing is going to be a popular choice for inclusion in a mod pack.

    Bauxite/ titanium

I would recommend enough higher tier casing to be able to smelt Tungsten. The two lava source blocks will contribute a great deal to get you there. I do not know the specifics of Bauxite generation, so you're going to just have to strike the earth and see what you find.

    Automatic Humus contraption

I'm not seeing a macerator, centrifuge, nor a peat farm, so I'm not sure where you're getting your replacement dirt from.

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Quick question, but did you give the golem(s) spectacles? You might could get away with an even larger farm with that upgrade.

    Ore Generation

I don't think that is very helpful to Sertas in this context. As he pointed out, he's actually changing configs and adjusting the generation to be appropriate, including the vanilla ores.

Beta pack - questions about rails

Ah, I see. It's been a while since I heard/saw that term, actually.

    Bauxite/ titanium

Bauxite is an ore in the ground. I think it's most often found in plains and forest biomes, but I could be wrong. The Industrial Blast Furnace is made with Machine Casings positioned 3x3 and 4 tall, with either air or more preferably lava in the center two blocks. You place the actual...

GMTA? I'm not familiar with that one.

    Pipe juncture woes

Try Facades. They're based on RP2 Covers and I think can do the job.

    Ore Generation

I think it would help others help you if you were more specific about what you've been unable to figure out so far. If you're still deciding about ore distribution, try looking at the Mindcrack pack's ore distribution settings from Thermal Expansion and try to base it around those. It might be...
