Sorry, I can't find anything that says MCPC+ adds multi thread support to minecraft. Can you link something more directed to show this. Edit: As far as I understand it MCPC allows use of plugins. I looked at the MCPC wiki and just done a google search for multicore minecraft. Nothing.

Moving across dimension has always been laggy in minecraft, i remember playing vanilla in the early day a noticing the lag when people crossed to the nether. Worth bearing in mind that minecraft servers are single thread only. So one will be maxed out while rest will be relatively ideal.

Server is overloaded. Likely caused by new chunk generation. use world border and fill the world when no one is on the server. It will help. What CPU do you have?

as far as i know there's no alternative to multiverse in the way your saying. There's mystcraft but you can't separate worlds like multiverse. Sorry to disappoint, maybe somebody else is aware of something else.

Learn the mods on your server, suggest looking into gregtech.

ids are in configs, as long as you hold on to them you shouldn't have id issues

to update - You just put the new mods in the folders. As long as they've got the same names, which FTB does, the new will overwrite the old. Mods tend to get done in batches, there's allows an update. I update my pack to FTB and later they be another mod update i could have done. Not sure...

you'll need to send either a ticket to FTB support or a message to the relevant developer. I don't think the developers spend much time looking over the internet to find issues with there work. And hopefully their too busy coding awesome new content

That doesn't reset chucks, and it only removes outside the boarder. The only way i know how to reset chucks current is NBT editor and manually editing your region file. You delete the chunk and let it regen naturally.
