I don't have a log, when i go to the pull down tab to pick 1.0.12 it just launches with 1.0.11, not even a download sign.

I clicked the link you mentioned, and it can load perfectly and extremely fast. So its totally not my computer.

I'm having the same problem, and when i disable my firewall it still doesn't work.

I'd start with direwolf20 pack, and watch his lets plays ( http://www.youtube.com/direwolf20 ) His single player season 6 will help you a lot. He goes in depth in every mod.

all i did was report "Opis", thats whats causing the lag.. hope it helps you too.

I get 3 FPS when i use MapWriter from the mod opis.. When i disable it, it goes back to 30-50.. Anyone else have this problem?

I disabled Opis, and its getting 20 Now.. Its also only using 30-40% of my 2GB of Ram? Will Opis every get fixed? Kinda like the map..
