YES! I 100% agree with this. I wish that a version with just the drone running on RF was released. I can't really name anything the mod brings to the table beyond that drone. So not worth dealing with those plants though.

I've updated to the latest version each time since 1.0.0 and my world is still fine. Some things change but that's just how things are. It's not world breaking.

Single player or server? Any additional mods added or anything removed? Any config tweaking? Has this world ever loaded? Also which version of Java?

I have had similar issues in other packs using to much RAM. Turned my max down to 4GB and no further issues. Java is weird that way. It really is the garbage collection process. Having it run more frequently is much better than infrequently in large chunks.

Make sure your download location within the FTB Launcher options is CurseCDN. This has fixed download errors for me in the past.

Yeah I guess I'm not sure why TE is here. I mean I know Ultimate but I'm not sure that TE is the same now as it was then. RF power really has no place in a GT pack as it's just to easy and kind of breaks the feel IMHO. I could be completely wrong here. Not trying to tell anybody what to do...

This was well done. This information should be put into the guide you mentioned as I learned a few more things I didn't know after reading the guide.

It was awesome coincidence that this pack released as I was already looking into GregTech, in an attempt to find something a bit challenging and requiring true planning and thought. I've already fired this up on a small server with some friends and I'm having a blast. Really looking forward to...
