    Direwolf20 1.6.4 Optifine Won't Work

Chickenchunks also appears to randomly crash with Optifine D6 as well. As I've said before, I feel there needs to be a simple mod that gives the CTM and random mobs.etc functionality. MCpatcher is apparently Forge compatible now, but you have to use their launcher with it. There doesn't...

    So this whole Gregtech thing.

Are there any statistics anywhere as to how many people were using the Unhinged pack? I'm guessing that lack of demand compared to the other packs could have also played a role in the decision to not release an "Unhinged" pack for 1.6.4

    So this whole Gregtech thing.

^ This. Gregtech worked well in the 1.4.7 Mindcrack pack, but now like many others have said it is becoming a lot larger and more intrusive to simply add to a modded instance without issues. The fact that it's listed as "GregTech-Addon" ingame doesn't help though.

Thermal Expansion 3.0!!! No More Beta! Thanks KL!

Hmm that doesn't happen to me, I can pour molten shiny metal into a casting basin without any problems. I even set up a redstone clock and hopper so I can just dump a tank full of molten metal in and away it goes. ...and people say Mystcraft isn't OP :P

That would NOT work as a wrench.

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

I'm afraid that the JS Berylium font is quite broken in 1.6/1.7, and we're not really sure how to fix it. Your best bet for now is to download the Faithful 32x font and use that instead: http://files.jslegacy.com/32x_MCFONT.zip

    The rebirth of IC2 ?

That was what I always thought, but a few times I've returned to find a farm full of weeds even though I made sure not to leave any empty crops. It is however entirely possible that another player came by and forgot to replant though, being that both occasions were on SMP :D .

Thermal Expansion 3.0!!! No More Beta! Thanks KL!

The trouble is, the mod authors nerf things because they become the "industry standard" so to speak. In 1.2.5, lava was the fuel source of choice, steves carts tree farms in 1.4.7, fuel in 1.5, and few people use anything else because the said fuel is more powerful/cheaper/easier to set up that...

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

I again apologize about the random downtime the JSlegacy site suffers from - It's very infuriating that the host is so unreliable, with download and upload speeds also greatly varying with no apparent pattern. The hosting plan will be up for renewal in March, and I'm not sure which direction...

Oh how hyped I am... (Another 1.6.4 thread)

This is a really nice idea IMO, although for GregTech users I doubt Greg would carry it over to his machines as he seems to like huge explosions :/ Really what IC2 could do with is separating "voltage" from "current", so if a machine is rated at "32v", it will refuse to work if gets more or...

    The rebirth of IC2 ?

I remember when simply walking (even shift walking) on IC2 crops caused them to break, but after that was removed it made them a lot more valuable (to me personally, anyway) early-game, but they always end up covered in weeds if you don't constantly maintain them. Also, someone might know if it...

    New forum theme

I like the new clean look, although as many others have said, it's very bright and could do with some slightly darker elements IMO.

Thermal Expansion 3.0!!! No More Beta! Thanks KL!

Mods will never be perfectly "balanced" with every other mod there is out there, as certain mods can throw all others out of the water. EE2 was a good example of this, it was balanced around itself and made mods that balanced themselves around diamonds and other mined resources meaningless...

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

Thanks for this, I've merged your textures with the 1.6 Github Repo, and updated the Patcher, so most of them should be available through it. :)

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

Ok I've fixed the ladder for the JSTR, somehow the blank space got cropped away from the sides of the texture, causing the resolution to be incorrect. Let me know if there's any other issues with it.

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

Sorry about that, the glitched glowstone and redstone ore was caused by a few bad CTM config files. I fixed this a few days ago, so if you redownload the base pack in the patcher, it should fix this issue.

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

Wow you've done a lot of great work there, it's a shame as I've updated a lot of the same things for the 1.6 version which could have been back ported and saved you some work :( That aside, would you mind if I include your updates in the patcher?

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

Just a heads up, I have started converting stuff over to the 1.6 format, but it's very big task, not only because of the unstitching involved, but also because so much has been added since 1.4.7. Progress can be viewed here: https://github.com/Glowstrontium/JSTR_MC-1.6 I've purposely not...

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

Hmm with the latest version of the pack, all of those have items have textures. Run the patcher again and see if that helps :) Also, there appears to be an Osmium Ingot which is invisible, but I can't find the file which contains its texture.

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

Hmm I'll check all this stuff out, but I know for a fact that in the latest version of the pack, the GregTech Circuits have JS textures, and the Advanced Circuit Parts and Portable Scanner have default textures, however these were only recently added. The ingots must have slipped under the...
