Yep. When you place a gearbox, it's in speed mode, right? How do you get it to torque mode? Do that.

I think you misunderstood my post. Using unstable ingots in a smeltery makes parts that are unstable and will become inert if not made into a tool fast enough, causing you to need to melt everything down and try again. I want to use stable ingots to make parts with the same properties, but...

How about one that adds the more expensive stable ingots?

Is there a reason you can get aluminum dust from redstone ore, but not nether redstone ore? The same might be true with other nether ores and their byproducts, but I didn't have extra to test with. If not, is it possible to add extractor recipes with modtweaker? I play a custom single player...

Mod Feedback ChromatiCraft questions and suggestions

Use spoiler tags or pastbin for crash reports, and that looks more like an error with the tardis mod than Cromaticraft.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Halloween easter egg, or something you can have all the time?

I planned it out in my head pretty well, I only needed one bevel gear. Had I actually marked out where I wanted things, I probably could have made it more compact.

I overpowered an industrial coil once. Just once.

I'm still really early on in this world, I haven't even started farming canola yet. I was running a grinder and a friction heater off a steam engine and a cooled wooden gear box, swapping to four merged steam engines cut the operation times way down.

Before I start making craters everywhere, the most I can feed into a shaft junction is four engines, right? Right now I have four steam engines feeding into three shaft junctions, am I correct in thinking even just one more engine is a bad idea?

Diamond needs one bucket, but then it never needs more. Bedrock doesn't need any, ever.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

I think the Blitz makes liquifacted coal, or some earth elemental liquid. I haven't heard of the other one, but I think there's also some air elemental liquid, so it probably helps with that. They've been in for at least a major version or two.

I hope this helps someone else, all my worlds will have it from now on. Signalum in a smeltery!

    [1.7.10] AgriCraft

You're not guaranteed to get a mutation, or even for plants to spread. Make sure both crops are fully grown, plant the cross sticks, and wait. If weeds grow, remove them, add another cross stick, and wait again. Keep trying until you get the mutation you're looking for.

I Derp, You Derp, We all Derp, What's your's?

It makes ingots from project red. Therefore my guess would be project red. If it is in fact not project red, then I will need to do more research, as I don't see a tooltip while it's still in the smeltery. I don't think the caps were needed.

When it's cast it turns into red alloy ingots from project red, I didn't see a config to disable it though

Conductive metal is redstone and just about any metal. There's a recipe conflict with it and signalum. Both the copper and silver wil turn to conductive metal before turning into signalum.

I Derp, You Derp, We all Derp, What's your's?

I tried to make signalum in a smeltery without disabling molten conductive metal. E: Speaking of, how would one go about completely disabling it so I can make signalum in a smeltry?
