How to use Meele Turtle from Computer Craft?

If he does not move, like at the entrance to a mob trap, this is a simple mob killer; while true do turtle.attack() end This program will attack ANYTHING, even you, that is in front of it. If you name the program startup, it will always boot to this program. I had used this for a blaze...

    Best way to mine?

I had 2 electric engines pumping items out of an enderchest just to keep up. I set 2 redstone capacitors hooked up and set for 100 MJ output. There was a speed increase past 50MJ but it wasn't huge. I just wanted to see how fast it was and did not care about energy usage.

    Redstone Energy Cell recharging question

After charging the forestry machines (they have an internal energy buffer AFAIK) and the power being stored in the conduits, you should then start to see power getting added. It worked that way in my Magic World. I had a similar setup and I was able to charge my cell.

    Just started,help would be nice!

Slimeballs can be made with Factorization. Place a mild bucket and cactus green dye in a crystalyzer that is touching a furnace heater block. Then all you have to do is wait 20 min for 2 slimeballs. Not fast but it is rather easy.

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

There are just 4 different components in that build. There are 7 Overclocked Heat Vents, 2 Component Heat Exchangers, 3 Component Heat Vents, and 6 Uranium Cells.

    Making a Induction smelter work,

If I see the picture right, You need the wooden conductive pipe on top of the engine and not on the side of the Induction Furnace.

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

A small reactor can get you 100 eu/t with a safe and simple setup with out heat buildup or explosion. The following link has several good reactors. I am using reactor 3 for UU Matter gen. http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=7681

Opinions wanted on "best" initial setup for me

That is why I mentioned this system. When I compared the output of both for about an equal size space the cart won due to the size of the trees that may be grown. Making a large tree farm is easy and it easily pays for itself. I don't use charcoal for the system and the way it produces logs I...

Opinions wanted on "best" initial setup for me

While you could add the solar engine to the cart, the amount of wood produced with the cart setup is crazy already. I have experimented with a large 24x12 setup and 8 furnaces changing into charcoal could not keep up with the output by a nice margin. Steve's Carts works well with Railcraft's...

Opinions wanted on "best" initial setup for me

So far I have tried with Coal Coke, Coal, Charcoal, wood blocks, planks, sticks, saplings, blaze rods, scaffolding, and buckets of lava with no problems. Lava cans don't work. Lava is an awesome long lasting fuel and cheap to get with TE. I prefer using the wood or saplings from the farm because...

Opinions wanted on "best" initial setup for me

The cart will plant the saplings on both sides of the track and space them 1 space apart. Just give them the saplings in its interface and you can forget them after. It totally beats Forestry in all my tests. Since it does not limit the growth height for the trees you still get the massive oak...

Opinions wanted on "best" initial setup for me

My favorite fire and forget tree farm is a Steve's Carts cart with a saw-blade tool, coal engine, and either side chests or top chest for storage. Costs 5 diamonds, one of each vanilla saplings, and some creosote for the tracks. It is as costly as the Forestry logger in diamonds the but takes a...

Confused about Reactors and remote Temp units

Component Heat Vents will regen the damage to the cooling cells if I am not mistaken. DireWolf20 has several of his videos from episode 50 covering his nuclear reactor. He discusses the issues concerning his reactor as well a stable setup that uses no cooling cells instead uses overclocked...

    Geothermal Generator + The Nether

A pump in the nether works great for getting tons of lava. To get the lava back either use Mystcraft portals with Railcraft liquid tank cars or a Thermal Expansion's liquid transposer loaded with tin cans and pumping the full cans into an Enderchest.
