Yep. I just fixed it when I saw your message. We recently just got a new rewrite for the patcher so we are switching everything over to the new one. Hope everything works out

The launcher should be using the latest version. There is probably going to be another updated within the next week.

A possible fix is to update using the patcher. The problem with that mod is that even in default the texture does not work. But we should have fixed it but the fixes take time to reach the ftb launcher.

I saw your post on the forums and am still unsure how to answer. I'm not quite sure if it was a design choice or not. Do you think it would look better if we changed it to closer resemble the vanilla texture?

Mindcrack pack has been updated to include compatible gregtech texture sheets. Either redownload the pack to get the fixes or use the patcher.

Yep this is optifine. To be more specific, I believe it is because the ore is rendered by having one texture layer on top of another. This is what we call Z fighting in 3D rendering. Can you try to rename the file without the ending .zip. So the whole file name is 'Soartex-Patcher.jar'. @Daniel Our team always keeps the possibility open to go to different resolutions. But for now we have focus on just finishing 64x and then branching out into other resolutions ect. Hope this answers your question.
