    AE Automation and Modpack Migration

Are you sure you can't melt ender pearls in the Smeltery? I was under the impression you could, but not 100% sure that it makes the same exact kind of "liquid" as the crucible does.

    AE Automation and Modpack Migration

I've also enjoyed using MFR's sorting blocks instead of pipes -- they look better in some situations. I suppose TE's upgraded/servo'd Item Ducts could handle the job too. Many options! :)

    AE Automation and Modpack Migration

Here's what I usually do: Make a "fake" recipe that says 4 ender pearls + 1 bucket = 1 bucket of ender ( I don't know the actual values off the top of my head) Set up a magma cruicible and a liquid tranposer so they are side by side and the output of the magma cruc goes into the transposer. Use...

"Problem" with the MFR Planter [Solved]

I don't know if this bug(?) still exists, but I read a report that putting something unplantable into any of the filter slots of the planter (like cobble) causes the planter to plant nothing at all. So if that happens, use Gerald's idea of saplings in the filter slots but don't load in any saps.

    AE Automation and Modpack Migration

Magma Crucible to Melt the Ender Pearls. Liquid Transposer to move the liquid into a bucket or whatever you need for further crafting. (edit: forgot -- use an ME interface with the appropriate recipe to feed these machines) Regarding using AE storage to migrate player possessions to another...

    Getting started with rotarycraft

Maybe because Hydrokinetic power, historically, predated ICEs by centuries. It just feels right to go for a water wheel early. That, and people are likely shell-shocked by previous exposure to exploding combustion engines. :D

    My Little "Picture-Through"

Here's how I made mob essence for my last (enderman) mob grinder: Make a room with the floor covered in hoppers, or use one hopper and conveyors, or whatever method to collect eggs. Fill room #1 with about 40 chickens. Feed the collected eggs into a dispenser on a redstone timer that fires an...

    Deep base ideas

Underwater entrances are pretty hard to see if done correctly. OpenBlocks has a nice elevator block you can use for quick escape.

    GeoStrata - Where's the marble?

Weird... I swear when I put Geostrata sandstone in the Chisel UI (monster 109) this weekend it gave me zero options to alter/transform it.

Thermal Expansion 3.0!!! No More Beta! Thanks KL!

They only backstuff a few items per duct from what I've seen; and it appears that the shorter the run of ducts, the fewer end up getting backstuffed. One thing you can do to reduce stuffing is to add a pneumatic servo to the source duct and tell it to "round-robin" -- this mode tests each...
