Thanks! i realized that my MultiMC was out of date, now I can just track FTB instances!

So I'm adding this so an MultiMC instance, and it keeps failing to download some akka-actor and config library file for Forge version 1235. Anyone else getting this issue? i'm unsure how to fix at this point, I've tried with a few versions of Forge and none are working.

That's true, it would throw off the balance in the pack already :P Also, an odd thing, I updated to 1.1.4 from 1.1.3, and it keeps giving me a message saying to upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4. I just hit no every time but I don't think I've ever had a pack do this before :P

Question, have you thought about adding Gendustry? It simplifies Bees a bit I think, and although I don't have much experience with it, maybe others would like to see it in the pack? EDIT: It crashes the pack currently, something about Trigger something :P

True. To be honest most modpacks give more than enough distractions as it is. I sit down to make my Botania setup, then I find a cave or some awesome biome and there goes my original plan! EDIT: I heard you might be pushing an update today? It's early morning for me so its probably too early...

Each has it's perks I think. IC2 + GT can keep the player from getting an ungodly amount of resources in a short time of playing. TE has nice upgrades, and I like the RF power system more than EU. If you want to give the players of your modpack a fresh experience, have them use EnderIO instead...

I agree with many here that no mod is absolutely required (except Forge etc). Personally I'd add Pam's HarvestCraft, Botania, Compact Machines, Chisel, and Mr. Crayfish's Furniture Mod to most modpacks, since they don't include them usually. I must have many kinds of delicious food :D

I agree, the new Clay Soldiers mod would add a nice distraction from normal gameplay :P

Did you delete your ftblauncher folder in /AppData/Roaming? That fixed the problem for me :) Also make sure your download location is on Automatic.

It is all good now :) Downloaded without a problem. Now I have a crash log that I am looking at to figure out why my server wont finish launching :p Should I post it to pastebin? EDIT: Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/3k0aeACe FIXED: Optifine was not liked by the server at all :P

Hey guys, I have been setting up a Direwolf20 1.6.4 server for me and my friends, but the download from creeperrepo always fails mid-download. There is no issue with my internet connection, and each download fails with no reason. Any suggestions? The FTB site status says its green so I am not...

Thank you very much for making this list!! (Hope you can keep up with Dire) When I play with this pack I like to have a game plan, and FTB can get overwhelming at times. This list will help give me ideas to put on my to-do list!
