    Moving shop

NBTEditor can definitely turn it from Eternal Day to normal time, just edit the agedata_##.dat file in the data directory under the world save. I'm not sure about making it the overworld, never tried that but I have done the NBTEditor to change a precreated mystworld's tags.

I've never done anything with bees, what's the appeal?

Haven't done much with the bee's here either. I view them as a bit of micromanagement hell (rightly or wrongly) and since I run up to 10 quarries at a time into my raw resource storage facility ores really aren't a big deal. Nothing is really a big deal quite honestly after long enough doing...

    Mod Merging

If they use the forge libraries to the fullest, a strong maybe. Problem is on a mod by mod basis it varies depending on how hard coded they did their operations. In theory the data dictionaries should allow you to convert or use the stuff normally and interchangeably but reality is there's...

List of Other Mods and Compatibility with Current Packs

Realistically no they can distribute whatever they please too. All the 'don't distribute' stuff is only as good as the lawyer you're willing to pay and their ability to convince a court to enforce.

Redpower going the way of Nandonalt's Mods?

The reverse of your statement would make you to be below average intelligence as well under those guidelines. One should be careful about blind judgments about individuals and their respective skill or intelligence and it would instead behoove them to pay more attention to the topic at hand...

    Mod Merging

Well depends. If there are configuration files to change block/item/creature IDs you can get those to work together. Beyond that if they're forge they should work together with those changes. Depends on the mod how much or how little you can adjust though. Can you be more specific?

[Suggestions] The Ultimate Defense (Offline included)

You can pipe EU into the system to charge up a forcium cell. Pipe that cell out of the spot it is in then place it in the main power. Should work, haven't tried it but makes sense and turns it into a renewable energy grid.

Redpower going the way of Nandonalt's Mods?

I'm hoping he was serious. As a modpack creator you have to be willing to bury any mod that can't keep up or otherwise causes problems. All the mods have to be viewed as transitory; they could go away at any time. Any number of things could end a mod from lack of interest to the author dieing...

    Buildcraft Energy routing?

I actually would say FTB proves the point. No matter how the mod pack is put together until you have a unified team writing the mods, you'll forever have the issues.

    Buildcraft Energy routing?

Well of course. Most mods are written in isolation or limited compatibility or insight into other mods. That just breeds exploits, duplicates, bugs, crashes and high resource usage from ram and cpu. That said it still can be fun depending on what the environment is that it is played in.

    Buildcraft Energy routing?

Huh I didn't know about that one. Interesting. Guess I don't read enough minecraft news.

    Buildcraft Energy routing?

Actually even more likely is someone reverse engineer's her code, then writes their mod using her code as a template. Statistically speaking I doubt she has the resources to hire the legal crew it'd take to do anything about it. Even less if the new coder has resources.

    Blulectric Engine

Managers are a cute idea that works on small scale. Try to explain to a manager that a given row can have 650536 of an item (10 upgraded barrels). Least I haven't found a way given the system. Before anyone asks, yes I've gathered more than that of some items.

    Fusion reactor

Well I figure if you're going to run 5 fusion reactors, an IDSU just doesn't hack it for your needs. Also never let power go to waste is one of my mantras. I'll build huge power storage areas just to not lose a bit of generated power. I figure if my power stops generating for whatever reason I...

    Need Barrel Help!

Buildcraft pipes are 100% reliable but they don't make decisions for you, you have to make the decisions in the configuration. His setup is very small so either way is fine, he just started with pipes already so might as well keep them. If he'd started with tubes then it'd make sense to work...

    Need Barrel Help!

Actually creating some diamond pipes would be easier. Replace the cobblestone pipes over each barrel with a diamond pipe then set the down filter to the item to be stored in the barrel. Adding the RP2 stuff for this small a setup is overkill.

    Fusion reactor

LOTs of EU storage devices. Depending on the power draw of the base as a whole or whatever you have on the system beyond storage you could need tons of the largest possible storage. IDSUs are shared so only 1B there so stacks of AESUs probably the next best bet.

    Blulectric Engine

Cobblestone can be very handy to have around. I won't let a block of it go to waste from my quarries. Course once you get a few million or so there's gotta be a limit to how much you accumulate.

    Blulectric Engine

Meh I wouldn't hold your breath. Feasibility/logic says go with the fork at this point but that's why that won't happen either.
