Why are these chunks ALWAYS loaded?!

No, servers don't have infinite RAM any more than clients do.

    ELORAAM

Actually, if memory serves, Wireless Redstone, at least Chickenbones' variant thereof, had always had a standalone version, and you needed to download an RP2 integration module to make it work with the plates and alloy wire. The biggest sticking points I can recall from the last time RP2...

Why are these chunks ALWAYS loaded?!

You won't get any FPS gains from it -- the chunks are too far away from you to be rendered. And 3 GB of RAM is just barely enough to run a mid-size mod pack and an OS at the same time (though that depends on the OS; Linux could let you get a bit deeper into the red before giving you trouble)...

Why are these chunks ALWAYS loaded?!

You could move the world spawn if you felt comfortable with something like MCEdit (or even NBTExplorer). I've never looked for a mod to do it, but it might be technically feasible; depends on how much Forge butts into vanilla there. A very brief googling didn't turn up anything that jumped out...

    early/mid/late game?

Everyone else seems to have covered your actual question, but please allow me to note an inconsistency: These two sentences don't make sense together; RF automatically converts to MJ when coming out of a conduit (and I think EnderIO might be, or might have been, able to convert both ways). If...

    Ender Pearls

If you can find an ominous woods, a dark room trap there should give you quite a few more endermen than in most other biomes short of the End.

Why are these chunks ALWAYS loaded?!

Spawn? Edit: Some chunks around spawn are always loaded. Looks like that might be it, given the coordinates near them.

    Infinite Night?

NEI in cheat mode (or utility mode, if time manipulation is activated) lets you right-click any quarter of the day to turn it off. Turn off the daytime and it'll be perma-night (with some mild visual irritants around the dawn-dusk transition). Switch back to recipe mode when you're done, if you...

    Cheap ME network?

Funny, I have the exact opposite reaction -- I get worried when I see big numbers: "When am I going use all of that?!"

    crashlog 101

There's no generic crash log: each one is different, and depends entirely on what generated it and how; unless you're the one who wrote the code, the best you can do is guess. That said, guessing can get you a fair way forward, especially when methods are named sanely. Take this example, for...

    FTB Monster Pack; Pulverizer question

I think I had EnderIO conduits eating MJ and outputting RF at one point; regardless, there's also an Engineer's Toolbox converter block that will go both ways, as needed. There are ways to turn MJ into RF, they're just not "automatic". Easiest to just generate RF in the first place.

Any Monster mod modifies spawn cap?

Probably referring to: And yeah, that does sound like it's server-side. Java up to date?

    Fortune 3 vs pulv

Fortune is a well-named enchant -- if you get lucky, you can more than double your output, but for a sustained process, you may as well go with the pulverizer, or RoC grinder, or similar.

What's my best option to play 1.7.2 pack?

I can't speak for the community, but I personally am not in the least frustrated with Mojang. I honestly think they're doing a good job, and have done so for the nearly four years I've owned a copy of Minecraft. That said, I had seen claims made both ways (vanilla change versus Forge change) at...

    [Agrarian Skies] Missing worlds

Hm, yeah, that's apparently happened to others, too. Here's the alternate download location from the AgSkies thread: http://minecraft.curseforge.com/worlds/agrarian-skies-home-sweet-home-b/

    Help with thaumcraft golems

5 ticks is a quarter of a second, real-time, barring reduced performance cases. Even then, it going beyond half a second would be unlikely. Did changing it back to 5 ticks really fix the issue?

    Why am i crashing?

By "common", I referred more to number of people reporting it than to number of occurrences for one person. In your case, Packet 51 (a single map chunk) versus Packet 56 (a block of chunks) both seem very similar errors to me -- it may be that Zan's used to cause issues in one variant and now...

What's my best option to play 1.7.2 pack?

I haven't cared enough to check, so I just used the most inclusive definition I could. With Forge for 1.7, IDs are automatically handled. It may be a vanilla change, but I've read it both ways so I don't really know anymore.

    [Agrarian Skies] Missing worlds

If you click the Maps tab in the FTB launcher, you'll find the Agrarian Skies maps in there. I've been told there is a possibility they may not download, but I just tried it and it worked for me, so it's probably fixed now.
