Dartcraft: One of the most overpowered mods of our time

It's one of the best mods out there, focusing on fun instead of artificial difficulty. Its take on enchantment is amazing if you start working on it as soon as you can (although a bit grindy if you start too late), there are convenience tools everywhere, spoils bags are an amazing reward for...

Gregtech deliberately crashing client if TC installed..

I've read somewhere that he makes some recipes completely random if you have both his mods and GT installed (as in needing random items in random slots), but the original ones still work as well. Don't know if that's true, though.

    GregTech Has Gone Too far

Maybe because nerfing wood in first place is completely stupid?

    GregTech Has Gone Too far

Out of curiosity, does Greg know about NiceGregTech? By the way, my favorite new GT feature is by far the "easy mode" configs he added. What's this, you believe his bronze recipes aren't balanced? You might as well have infinite bronze, then. He's amazing in a twisted way.

    GregTech Has Gone Too far

Now I wonder if people would complain so much about solar panels if Compact Solars was the popular one in FTB, instead of the advanced ones.

    Optifine for FTB

    1. select the pack you use 2. click the button to change mods 3. click jar mods 4. click add something 5. choose the optitine for your version of minecraft 6. close all those dialogs 7. launch the mod pack 8. guess what happens now! (no, it doesn't involve explosions)

    Cobble collection

Short answer: use more igneous extruders. Long answer: use A LOT more igneous extruders and maybe a few too many quarries. Bonus answer: please store all that in MFR DSUs.

    1.5.2 solar farm area

That's only if you use GT. Also, that thing about restoring hunger has been removed from the most recent versions, and you need a special amethyst bucket to move spring water. As for solar panels, those 512 EU/t things exists so servers don't get abused as much. They're basically storage blocks...

    Greg's done it again.

Seeing how he's apparently gone full FlowerChild mode, things can only escalate from here. Why didn't you stop it?

    QuarryPlus

It uses the IDs 4000-4003 by default, which are kinda loved by Forestry or something, so you need to change the config. The power multiplier for efficiency is 1.3x in the config, and a quick PowerConverters test told me the quarry will still use 100 MJ/t with Eff. IV.

    Greg's done it again.

Hope you're not playing on a server!

    QuarryPlus

Just found out there was a recent update that changed how the quarry uses power. Now, everything can be set in the config and there's a base amount of power to build the frame, move the arm, break blocks and so on, as well as multipliers for the enchants. Efficiency only boosts the speed of the...

Question about Chestnut and Walnut Trees.

Yes, and it works as of recent versions of Forestry. mDiyo's bone meal bags don't, though.

Extra bees & magic bees mutations for 1.5.2

You can try the Escritoire to get info on how to mutate things, if you're really lucky and don't end up getting the same research notes over and over again. Some mutation things changed, I believe, to require a block underneath the api/alveary. For example, I think you need a block of iron under...

    QuarryPlus

Worth using simply because of the liquid removal and advanced frame thing. Now if only BC frames weren't SO. LAGGY. Fortune/Silk Touch are nice additions as well, and getting them into the quarry feels balanced enough in that you need to have a pickaxe with those enchants (at the exact level as...

    Bee Breeding Thread.

Since someone decided to bring a bee thread back from death, I might as well ask in it. Are chocolate frames broken in the most recent 1.5 release for anyone else? They seem to boost production rate just well, but they don't seem to be killing the bees any faster at all.

My personal issue with IC2 and similar mods

But IC2 (and thus Gregtech) is the only mod like that. Guess why no other (popular) mods blow everything up if you put a cable in the wrong place? And I'm so damn thankful for that.

    Biomes O' Plenty for 1.6.2

And I don't think I'll be able to use it for a few months, at least. I don't think I'll wait for everything I use as much as RP2 fans are waiting for Eloraam, but this really does feel way too early. At least those screenshots gave me an idea for my next world.

    MFR Sludge

Straight into an ender tank, shared by all farms, into a boiler. All that peat, sand, mycelium, and mud well at least I can have an ugly brown room before 1.6

Where Do You Find Quarried and Abyssal Stone?

In the latest version, it spawns on any forest-like biomes (thankfully there's some sort of a Forge dictionary for them), so you don't need to commit suicide if you have BoP. That line in the config file is gone as well.
