BedCraftGP / BedCraftTOWNY;;; FIX 75% OFF ALL GRIEFING

This is why I steer clear of servers (well, this and i'd have to follow rules).

    Recommended LP series for ultimate?

Alex Diener (ThemsAllTook on the forums) does a great SSP LP. He does all sorts of brilliant stuff, such as (recently) automating the production of fuel from a distillation tower using routers (i'd just use AE personally, but that wouldn't be anywhere near as impressive). He deserves way more...

More efficient/completely safe nuclear reactor setups?

Its rather sad how several small reactors can completely trounce 1 large reactor. Even with CRCS, its best to have the power producing reactors as small as possible (without wasting space on neutron reflectors, of course).

Sawmill in 1.5.2 (this was a bug, Mod author knows)

Yet another pointless, unnecessary nerf. Now we get an extra 1/8 of a plank per log, making it worthless. The GT sawmill better be unchanged, given its mammoth cost (for what it does). I guess we'll have to use charcoal for our boilers now (though given the OPness of MFR tree farms, thats...

    Power Sources

Why are conduits more server friendly than conductive pipes? I don't believe the increased carrying capacity of diamond conductive pipes renders conduits obsolete. Remember, conduits are a hell of a lot cheaper and when you've got a renewable fuel source, a 5% loss isn't really a big deal.

    Setting up a boiler

A word of advice: if you're running your boiler for a long time, it may be worth making another 9 HP boiler blocks (whatever they're called) for a 36hp boiler, it'll be more efficient in the long run. Without fertiliser, an 11x11 MFR tree farm with 2x2 trees will keep several 36hp boilers...

Why Does Everyone Care So Much About Expense

Then could you please try and explain your point? The way I see things, SC tunnel bores perform a slightly different role to quarries & turtles. Quarries are easy to set up, but require moving once in a while and just dig everything below them. Tunnel bores on the other hand are trickier to set...

Why Does Everyone Care So Much About Expense

If it was nerfed, then still nobody would play with it. Its supposed to be the best automining tool in the game. Nerf it and the quarry & turtles would have no competition. If anything, it should be the quarry and turtles that are nerfed (and not by raising the cost even further). Then, we'd...

Why Does Everyone Care So Much About Expense

As I said, some people like just gathering resources. Greg seems to have aimed his mod at this group of people. If you don't belong to that group, then you can always dive into the configs, or just not use it until you have a decent supply of resources coming in (from quarries and things)...

Why Does Everyone Care So Much About Expense

All this talk of time reminds me of something Confucius once said: "Time you've enjoyed wasting isn't wasted time". Do you enjoy spending hours on gathering resources for a project? Some people like caving; if so, then expense is not a big issue. On the other hand, if you just want to get to the...

    Digital Chests are still confusing.

To be fair, Greg did explicitly say that digital chests are for people who don't have factorization installed. You can also configure how many items can be stored in a digital chest.

Strange, I never knew Saudi Arabia was in the middle of a lake.

    Thoughts on MFR

This. Hopefully it'll also encourage other mod authors to stop making their own work obsolete. On a similar note, if it weren't for the macerator + blaze powder/bonemeal exploit EE2 would have been a good addition to FtB. Instead we have EE3 which hasn't been updated since its 'release'.

4000 buckets? Thats good for me, usually they only have around 500 buckets.

InfiniWatermill, How to make without RP2?

I've just done some testing with a solar boiler. Powered by 56 mirrors (the maximum number), it produces enough steam for 1 industrial steam engine and 1 hobbyist's steam engine - a total of 10 mj/t. Not massive amounts, but its basically free aside from the upfront costs. It does have a...

Changing armor values/%chance to ignore armor

Not that I know of, the only thing that bypasses armour are Tinker's construct rapiers (which is why they are STILL OP Mdiyo...). Anyway, whats the point in even having armour if you can get hit through it?

How do you get resources for the GT Reactor

Why don't people realise that 132 stacks of copper isn't a problem if you enable IC2 ore gen? Aside from that, bees are the quickest way to get pretty much everything you could need.

Industrial-Scale Bee Breeding: Seed Oil Bottleneck?

I assume you have used the extrabees machines to give your farmed bees fastest productivity, and that you're also giving them enough frames for 100% production chance? If not, do that. Otherwise, I can only suggest what arentol said: more of everything. However, an easier alternative might be...
