Im probably missing something but I dont see why people use fertilizer, when you can just upgrade the size and let the sun be your 'fertilizer'. The upgrades are a small one time cost, vs producing fertilizer constantly for a single tree. I think I have almost 500K charcoal sitting in two DSUs...

FTB Ultimate: Can you melt blaze rods into lava in a magma crucible? Looking for ways to use a t5 blaze spawer as energy, you are supposed to be able to turn blaze rods into lava but it's not working for me.

Mineffactory Reloaded also has the Lava Fabricator, so you could start collecting oil and fuel and turn it into lava, if you wanted. edit: ive heard its hard to find Demonic bees, is there a trick to finding them?

Where do you find pages? Ive checked every village for 2000 blocks in every direction, and only found a few pages. Im nowhere near being able to make an age. Is there some hidden spot to find pages?

What do people do that dont want to upgrade to Unleashed? Will we still be able to keep launching Ultimate from the FTB platform? My buddy who owns the server doesnt like upgrading, and we all dont want to lose redpower so I dont see us moving up any time soon.

This and not getting obsidian are the big drawbacks, true. I play on a gregtech enabled server though, so getting turtles going is much cheaper than a quarry is. Also requires a lot less power.
