I disagree with Dinodinodude. I don't think it is disrespectful to speak of other good packs on here. The fact that you're doing it here and not somewhere else shows which pack you like. Plus most mod-pack developers are friends not really competitors and don't mind talking about other great packs.

Soo, we've put a lot (around 40) of hours into our server and still no sign of invaders. The Hostile worlds mod is a .zip not .disabled and I adjusted the config file to make the first one at 1000000 instead of 2000000, but still no sign. Any ideas?

Thanks for the Quick reply Anesos. I went into the mods folder in the server and the hostile world mod is a compressed folder folder not a .jar. How do I know whether or not that is disabled? We have put probably 30 hours into our game now and are all ready for the invaders and we have not...

So my first night I often build a hidy hole in a cliff. The trick is to go down one lower than the ground outside so that you can open the hole at their feet and hit them without them blowing up. Only hit them in the morning when you need to get out or you'll waste too much hunger.

How are people dealing with this electric cloud around invader portals now? You should take out the diamond Dolly and make the regular dolly have the old diamond dolly recipe.

It sounds to me like something is wrong with your game. When night comes for me I have a stupid amount of mobs swarming around my base, and even after the sun rises there are many that don't die. I usually have to kill 5-10 creepers and a bunch of fire zombies and probably some skellies hiding...
