You can set fuzzy buses to ignore damage levels on items, there's a menu thingy on the top left when you open the GUI iirc

Mekanism/TE3 question, can I send gas (like hydrogen chloride for example) though a tesseract? I want to move my brine processing station into a desert to improve the modifier but i'm too lazy to run pipes all the way.

Undamaged golden swords can be put in the smeltery and melted into gold. Damaged ones need to be repaired on an anvil (with gold) then put in the smeltery. Not sure if this is economically viable.
