I really don't get this. I press the key that's bound to the zoom function with the goggles equipped, and nothing happens. I even tried rebinding the key to make sure that it wasn't conflicting with any other binds, still nothing. I have no idea what's wrong.

Another concern: It appears that with this kind of setup it's impossible to have automated alchemy. You would have to do it manually seeing as obviously the suction from the alchemical construct can't pass through the buffers. I really don't understand how this is supposed to help.
