I'm thinking it's going to be more than a month or two. After they release any big version change they always follow it up with bug fixes that keep breaking mods.

Geek lots of people have said the exact same thing. They have so many biomes it just feels too dense. I'd just take out a few you like and if you're making a server take out the ones with the huge trees unless you have buckets of RAM to throw at them.

Get the new FTB 1.5.2 beta pack when it releases. It'll have Applied Energistics and some other mods. It won't be exactly like Ultimate obviously, but if you want AE that's one of the few places you can get it on FTB.

V3 all the way. It's prettier, no forceium <sp?> required, and it just seems like something I'd use now as opposed to the classic version.

Unless they add yet another mod that adds world gen I think going from 0.7 to 1.0 will be easy as pie. If it adds world gen or removes the world gen mod you're using then obviously there's going to be some trouble.

Well supposedly after 1.6's modding API is in place Minecraft mods will never break again (I'll believe it when I see it).

Well, I figured Slow would get involved in some way, but I figured it'd be a play through on Twitch. Now, we're going back to the drawing board. Well, I'm sorta bummed, but you know when they finish it'll be a solid pack.

He said he already finished testing the pack last night, and passed it up the chain. He said it generally takes up to 24 hours to get the pack on the site. That said it's the weekend so it's probably a loosey goosey 24 hours. I just can't wait to get my hands on 0.7, and so I'm watching these...

I'm at work so I can't watch the YouTube video associated with it, and the Minecraft forum page is lacking to say the least. I read a few posts in it, and my guess is it make some things that were previously unstackable stackable. Like shovels or picks.
