What they should do is balance it out with a bit of both to appease both sides. However on the modded side we haven't gotten much of anything to help us out except for the ID thing in 1.7 maybe.

"overpowered' differs from person to person. It's honestly all about opinion and self control. Time torches speed up things sure but they also still cost the same amount of energy to run a quarry etc

If you are playing by yourself or are on your own server you can add the mod back in yourself. I think they just went with a different approach on the modpacks I'm not sure, I've added dartcraft back in myself by downloading it putting it into the mods folder and configuring it and any id conflicts.

There is no such thing as too much ore, even if I had 100k ore of everything I could easily find a way to deplete it fairly quickly using Applied Energistics and the molecular assembly chamber making a big project.

Honestly this is why I like dartcraft. Its fun and some people may call it "Overpowered" but it honestly really can be configured to your liking and not only that, you can also use something called self control and not make insanely fast quarries with it if you are worried about progressing to...

Why is prof mobius's mods so helpful and useful? :) I swear opis has helped me out so much finding lag.

This is working as intended I believe. a work around would be making multiple hammers and have an auto charging system using an enderchest and enderpouch :)

And people like you are the reasons I do not play on servers unless I am running them or am in control of what mods are on it. Not trying to be mean but people who take out entire mods instead of fixing the problem or using minetweaker to remove the recipe to obtain that item is just silly...
