I feel as though perhaps you have not looked into Gregtech. It adds many different plants to IC2, including ore generating plants for tin, copper, lead, etc. Also, many mob drop plants, such as eggs, meat, spider eyes, ender pearls, etc.
Oh yeah, I use the crap out of IC2 crops in the early game. Easy access to renewable dyes (I just wish I could get green dye with them too, instead of having to make a side cactus farm) and super easy food. After that, later in the tech tree, a watermelon farm harvested by GT Crop Harvesters...
Also, many devices in GregTech have an option to output power to the output face. Pretty much anything with an item output can be toggled to output power in the same direction. Be careful about voltage when doing this though. Turns out transformer upgrades don't just change what energy can be...
Oh man, I think I don't understand how TiC works anymore. I thought I did. But I thought that each part had very specific aspects that it affected, and that traits didn't stack. So what about Stonebound 1 on an all stone pickax. Is that stacked too?
I have used very little of Engineer's Toolbox in my actual game (just enough to make an egg collection area) but man I would love to see a spotlight. There are just so many cool different uses. If you do make one Shneekey, I for one will be very excited to watch.
The current launcher cannot support 1.6 modpacks. The new version is under development, and modpacks for 1.6 will have to wait until the new launcher is released. DW20 has already mentioned he has plans for a new modpack shortly after the launcher comes out.
Apiarist pipes aren't the only items that can be used to automate bees. I demoed in a video how to do it with Translocators.
On topic, this look great, and I can't wait to see more. I am super excited about the changes coming in TE.
ME cables don't have a range, except for what is in loaded chunks. So if you have a loaded path of 700 blocks of cable, you don't need a Wireless Access Terminal, you can do it with just the regular one. You just would have to have 45~ chunks loaded for the cable, which would be a horrible idea...
Alright, I'm not certain what's changed, but I woke up today and can now access the Mod Discussion forum with my account. So, cause not understood, but problem resolved at least. :-D
I just tested with IE 11.0.9431.0 and got the same error page. When I opened the page before logging in, it loaded fine. But after I logged in, I suddenly can't go there.
Are you comfortable using ComputerCraft and do you have OpenPeripherals installed? It adds the AESU as a type of peripheral for CC computers, so you can write a program that reads it's value, and controls your reactor based on the AESU's energy level. Other than that, if you can find a way for...
Could you elaborate on what you mean about having to use Alt-Gr to write special characters on non-qwerty keyboards? I use dvorak, and I don't even know what Alt-Gr means.
I'm having an issue where I can't view the thread list for the Mod Discussion forum. Screenshot attached.
If I log out, then I can view the forum fine. And if I have a link to a thread in that section then I can go to that thread. I get this error on multiple computers, and tried clearing...
And it could be made exclusive with a PRC instead of those latches, so that only one liquid translocator would be active at a time. I mean, it could be done with latches and other tile sized gates too, but a PRC would make it much easier.
