Alright, I replaced the pipes with buildcraft pipes and everything worked. Then I replaced those again with itemducts, and everything was working again...

Nope. The furnace is completely empty. I mined both the furnace and some adjacent itemducts and replaced them all, it still doesn't receive items. I have also made sure that all itemducts are set to output, are receiving redstone signals, and don't have blacklisted items.

So I have made a semi-automated setup where I put ores in a chest, they go into a grinder powered by an industrial coil (which I have to turn on and off manually). After that, the flakes go into a vanilla furnace powered by a friction heater to get smelted, after which the ingots get transported...
