    That is indeed your problem, minecraft is a big cpu hog but you also need a pretty decent graphics card to run it smoothly.

    Danidas is 100% correct. Before I started my world I installed single player commands and removed all stone dirt and gravel in 64 chunks just to see how the ore spawn rate would be so I could tweak it if need be

    Im thinking it is Rei's minimap. I've tested with and without and i get small lag spikes when i have it installed. I still am lagging a bit even when it's not installed. Optifine i believe is the culprit of this.

    Try disabling them big trees for extrabiomes gen. I was noticing major lag when i would spawn in a new world with them big redwood trees.

    Who's begging here . I simply just said if they are not faithful textures do not put them textures in the pack. If people feel like mix-n-matching textures that is totally fine, just don't label it as Faithful texture pack. Make a seperate thread and call it ------- remix pack for all i care.

    Jodelahithit if you don't mind me asking, where did you get the thermal expansion textures from. Them are NOT faithful textures!!
