Wouldn't turning it on just require x amount of lumens, instead of x lumens/second? So you could just let a pylon fully charge and then turn it on.

My base is so spread out that I have a big minecart network connecting all the various areas. Celestial Gateways have now rendered it obsolete, but it was used extensively before I got them.

It does, but Railcraft renders it obsolete even if you don't have it installed. If you have it, it has better options for powered carts. If you don't, there's no reason to make minecart setups anyway.

In my experience, none of the new things added in v12 have Lexicon descriptions - neither does the Crystal Altar or the Thaumcraft wand caps and core it adds, for that matter. I assume this is a bug?

How exactly do you break an Ethereal Barrier once you've placed it down?

A fact that caused the Enderdragon fight to be very painful, considering how Ender Crystals also generate infinitely and the dragon enjoys flying *just* out of range of the Render Distance. :P

I have to say, I really love all the tongue-in-cheek jabs at other mods in the Lexicon. Great way to add a bit of humour to ChC. :p

Dang, rhn, this stuff is beautiful! Your builds never fail to impress me. I keep trying to make stuff like this, but I always get sidetracked into making crazy automated contraptions. :P

I enjoy mods that encourage the building of huge automated contraptions, so I'm waiting for Botania and RotaryCraft.
