[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Ok, so some of these mobs are ridiculous! I just got killed by a baby thief skeleton that was moving at 1000 mph jumped a 3 block gap stole my weapon and proceeded to kite me while hitting me until I died. There is no amount of armor, weapon or anything that could have prevented me from dying...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Unless you manually add more hearts than the default 3, once you die 3 times the world will get deleted even if you have a sync shell created. That was the issue. Also, since the mod pack is designed around sync there are no hearts as rewards so again, unless you manually add more hearts you...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I think there is a mod that does that, but too late for 1.1.2 :P

Evil indeed! Although by the time you can afford an ender quarry you should pretty much have all of the resources you need to do anything you want :P

Having a bucket of blazing pyrotheum or lava in your inventory will cause you to heat up. Might not be able to carry it all of the way to a city without the use of several cold water bottles or traveling at night.

I also forgot to mention that I am pretty sure if a skeleton shoots a special mobs creeper they will explode in retaliation to the attack.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I think the Special Mobs config option "block_damage" is what controls this and was false when using Special Mobs 2.6, I do not see the option in the new Special Mobs for CL 1.1.2 Mini creepers are OP :p They can fit into 1 block gaps and will blow a hole in your defenses and let the horde of...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Looks cool! I also thought about adding the weather and tornadoes mod. Have not got around to it, but seems like it would fit right in with a dry/dusty planet. Would be better if there was a dust storm mod or a way to modify tornadoes to look more like desert dust storms :P

It takes a 4 high wall to prevent giants from throwing mobs over. You can keep spiders out by making an overhang of fences on top of your wall. Fences are considered transparent so even when mobs are under them they will burn in the sunlight. You will still have to manually kill the babies...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Special Mobs tracking AI for some mobs are definitely borked. I'm using the latest beta with Mob Properties disabled and Zombie Awareness enabled. I have also experienced this with Zombie Awareness disabled. This does not happen when I disable Special Mobs and keep Zombie Awareness enabled...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Assuming the 1.1.2 beta files, I would say it is not Zombie Awareness since the zip for that mod was installed incorrectly and is not active unless you extract the contents to their appropriate locations. I have the same issue with lag once night falls using the 1.1.2 beta. I disabled Special...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I like it, but personally I prefer to keep the pyrotheum in place until I get an Iron bucket since pyrotheum melts materials in the crucible a whopping 350% faster than lava and 200% faster than netherack fire. I always spend the entire first day punching dust. Sieve all night long which gets...

You can get obsidian that does not require a pick using stone barrels. You put a bucket of lava into the stone barrel then pour water over the top of it and the lava will turn into obsidian that you can right click to take directly out of the stone barrel. Also, you do not need a vacuum hopper...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Drinking the bottle of water restores 10% thirst, adding it to the camel pack adds 25 durability to the camel pack which restores 25% thirst in 1% increments as water is needed. It is 2.5 times more efficient to use the camel pack to restore thirst and way more convenient.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I only ever use 4-6 water bottles per Minecraft day via the camel pack. They look to be about 16 oz of water, but let's just say they are 32 oz for arguments sake. So 6 bottles x 32 oz = 192 oz, which is 1.5 gallons of water consumed per day which seems about right to me considering we are on a...

If you are below 99% hydrated, each bottle of Apple Juice you drink adds 1% hydration from my testing.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I can carry 256 buckets of water in a single inventory slot with Drums. That's enough for 15-20 hours of game play. Also with a Golden Bag of Holding or a TiC knapsack, I can carry enough Camel Packs to last 20-30 Minecraft days and only takes a few minutes to refill them all. I really do not...

The biomes info also tells you when you are in a slime chunk, that's why I kept it in ;)

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

If anyone is interested, I added InGameInfoXML to track time, fps and camel pack durability. It's not much, but it gives you an "at a glance" look at how much water is left in your camel pack in the upper Left corner of the screen. If you want to use my config, you can find the mod here...
