Eh... There's two sides to that. I'd argue that AE is in every pack for a reason; you have FAR more items to deal with in a modded environment, and even if you can find a place to put everything without AE (possible, but gruelling) finding what you need and keeping things in any sort of order...

You can do it, you'll just have to specify the items by hand; there's no "this mod only" button. Sorting is one of the only areas where AE actually falls over somewhat; you can tell the dev is a database programmer and not a big fan of GUIs =P Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Anyone happen to know if RailCraft tanks are still causing crashes? Apart from ExtraCells, I'm just not able to get the same storage efficiency out of anything else, but logging on/dimension hopping in 1.5.2 ended up being a bit of a disaster due to constant crashing.

Considering MC can only use about 4gb of RAM max, whatever the launcher says, on big packs like Monster a newer computer often doesn't do much. Sometimes if you're going to play heavily modded, you just have to live with it ;)
