Call me old fashioned but the crafting CPU or whatever the multiblock is called now is still the centrepiece of my network. I tend to make the controller a sort of tendril feeding off it.

Way back when I used IC2, I recall needing the gravichest thingy to get flight.

The inscriber is actually one of the nicer things in AE2 for me. It's like the quartz charger thingummy in that it's a fiddly pig of a process if you do it manually but it's fairly straightforward to automate if you understand the different faces of the machine.

If it's part of an automated setup you should be able to set it up in such a way that you don't need to open it. If you just want to periodically check storage levels you can whack a comparator on it

Is there a way to do this? Because :reasons: I want to make a fully automated and self-sustaining gunpowder factory. I have plans for the sulfur and coal dust production lines but i'm having trouble trying to find a way to make saltpeter. Anyone?
