    I feel like i'm trying to get to grips with FTB Ultimate again, even though i'm in infinity 1.8 XD So my current base power setup is IC2 solars at the moment. I've got a bit of rotarycraft stuff going on but it's pretty much a standalone system. My main issue i'm having is the nooby one...

    There's also the small matter of four of the mods I mentioned having nice multiblock nuclear reactors. I'd kinda like a base that runs them side-by-side XD

    Mekanism uses Joules. But you're right about the universal cables. I could disable the recipe for them though :P

    Just for the lulz and hilarious messiness, I think I may make a pack that includes ALL the major power systems. Basically, even though crossmod integration is generally pretty good these days, I feel it would be a great excuse to make a hideous labyrinthine mess of different power generating...

    Certainly cheaper than making 120mB of UU matter plus whatever energy cost from the replicator itself (not even counting the cost of the recyclers making scrapboxes). Result :D

    Oh. The only HQM-ish pack i've played is Regrowth, and in that one it just keeps track of your deaths rather than punishing you for them...

    I think there should be a game mode that does this for ANY death. 10 deaths and you're out. Except you can restore hearts with miniature red hearts.

    I've noticed that Infinity has FastLeafDecay aswell as Extra Utilities. What else does the FLD mod add that makes it not redundant, since ExU already has instant leaf decay as a config option?

    Now that IS interesting. Is it comically expensive as the UU-matter method of making iridium?
