Fixed in 1.2.3 Every pickaxe has a max level, once you leveled it once you have to make a different kind of pick, eg bone pick can only mine copper at the max so you has to switch to copper pick...

You need to drink an item called fresh water and leaves cider, you can drink them when your hunger isnt full, however if you put leaves cider in the crafting grid you can get a leaves cider that can be drank even with full hunger

1) Hydration has 2 paths, Leaves cider/ Snow.. There is even a quest giving you the free anvil...Starting Ore processing? you have Flaxbeard, Tinkers, and even Exnilho... so yea 2) Galgadorian is pretty easy now... please relook at the recipe..... 3) If you didnt notice galgadorian recipes...
