    I live here now

One of Us. One of Us. Well, one of me anyway. Most people don't bother. Elevator tracks are fun because they double as ladders, and pretty quick ones.

Well, it is a filterable, high capacity delivery system, capable of bringing goods wherever you want them to go. Plain carts for small areas, electric trains for longer distances or full size steam locomotives for hauling big train loads of things around. Loaders can move exact amounts of items...

    Age of Engineering Series!

Very interesting. As opposed to me, who's had my username for absolute ages.

    Age of Engineering Series!

Wondered who that was behind the user name.

    Age of Engineering Series!

Glad to hear you've enjoyed it. Can't wait to see what's next.

What is the most stable modpack (preferably 100+) in minecraft, Today?

If you want 1.6.4 packs, MultiMC can now download the various FTB packs natively. I'll suggest both Modular Mayhem and Modular Mayhem Reloaded. Excellent packs, by the author of Crash Landing (also available via the Twitch launcher.) If you find a bug you can report it to him and he'll more than...

    [1.10.2] Sprout

Sounds like a Thaumcraft Hungry node but there's no Thaumcraft in Sprout as far as I know.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Magneticraft also has a Pumpjack, but that only brings up oil.

The Hobbyist steam engine is interesting. Early on it's not particularly good, but it can be fed steam from sources later on if you need just a bit of power for one thing. It works well for things that lose power like the Rolling Machine or the various forestry ones. Since you feed it external...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

I've been using mostly the Immersive Engineering pump. It natively sucks water without creating flowing blocks, defaults to replacing lava with cobblestone, and vacuum's up just about anything I feed into it without a hiccup. Does not do Buildcraft Oil Wells, because of the weird way the well's...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Not today, but it seems Arboreal Extractors can pull Mushroom Stew from the giant mushrooms. And then you can fill the bowls with a fluid transposer.

Alternately, see if you can make the market from Pam's which will let you buy the seeds. (I'm almost certain the recipe changed, but...)

    Today being April First

I just played an older pack that wasn't affected.

I find that the drop rate is annoying enough that I prefer to setup one Blaze and one Slime spawner instead of one Magma Slime.

    Suggest a pack for me?

Automaton, a pack I keep recommending because it deserves more attention. Pure tech, with a questline. None of the IE recipes seem different, but AE's had a few changed that will require IE, but they're arranged such that you're guaranteed to have them before you really need to start AE. Does...

Portal Gun's rain of chicken's still amuses me.

Looking for a new modpack to play

Me, I'd suggest Automaton. It's a purely tech based pack, going from Immersive Engineering, to AE2, to Mekanism. I'm having an absolute blast with it.

Anyone know of a pack that keeps that vanilla feel?

I could also perform surgery on myself with a rusty table knife and a shot of whiskey, but doctors with scalpels and very nice drugs exist for the same purpose, and are better capable of the task.
