If you are still having issues then go to the libraries folder inside the ftb folder and delete it.

I did ask him to add that line to the jvm flags but maybe it needs to be in environment variables as well. Here's hoping that is it.

It could have been anything that changed in your system. Unfortunately this error is not just connected to ftb it happens with vanilla minecraft as well. I looked at an other thread and they suggested using ccleaner and running windows updates.

If it just closes then do what I said above.

The reason is because the file it refers to in the log is an ati file associated with your gfx card.

If you have not created a world then don't bother about the backup step but you will need to delete everything though as per the instructions. Where did you install the ftb launcher to?
