The arcane ear is great for SSP worlds, but as soon as you put it on SMP anyone can go along and fuck with the frequency. And if you have seperate ears for seperate machines on seperate frequencies then that can royally fuck you up.

The mod maker thought it was so OP that he discontinued it and decided instead to rewrite the entire mod. It wasn't balanced, if your opinion on balance differs from the opinion of the guy who wrote the mod, then your opinion is wrong.
