LoL this thread is a riot---I mean that sincerely :D

That would be so damn awesome, I almost hope it's true. Honestly. If I lose to such a ploy, I will golf-clap. But no.

Huh? I thought you were a basic villager; what could you do?

All I'm interested in are the roles claimed by GPuzzle, Jess and dgdas9. So far: GPuzzle: (evades question) Jess: (crickets) dgdas9: "Generic Villager #3"

In a "basic" game with just werewolves, villagers and a Seer, the threshold for adding a third werewolf is generally considered to be around 12 people. Considering we're an 11-player game with a Hunter, there's a very good chance there're three wolves in this game---though that chance is...

    Werewolf Game 2 Game Thread

There is a strong bloc of four people who know full-well that they are villagers: myself, VikeStep, the_j485, and Staxed. As far as I'm concerned, with eight players left, the four of us all but control the lynch vote. VikeStep is the Fortune Teller, and has identified goreae as a wolf...

Vote to lynch anyone other than Henry Link or Droideka30, for reasons (edited to reflect current vote tally): Basically, if we tie, we can clear Henry Link as a villager (well, as clear as we can get, given the awesome madness of roles in this game) or catch him in a lie.

Two quick questions regarding the rules, which I only noticed when I was doing my unnecessarily-colorful summary: Can players still vote to lynch "none"? The rules suggest they can: "You may vote for none. (full stop) None my only be lynched once per game". I suspect this means that any...

On the subject of rules: A forum game like this is extremely difficult to GM. I can't imagine how difficult it must be with eleven players and a host of complicated roles with crazy interactions. So it is imperative that we do our part, and understand the rules, so ICountFrom0 isn't driven to...

Actually, goreae (or anyone voting for Henry Link): If you could instead vote for someone totally random (vote to lynch me, I won't mind), then we won't have to rely on Jess to tie the vote. As it stands, if Jess doesn't vote in time, I won't be able to force a tie by changing my vote.

Okay! Listen up, townsfolk and werepeople, here is a summary of Operation Vote-Split (no, I'm not very creative at all, am I): Henry Link claims to be a villager who gets to stuff the ballot box with an extra vote. We can test him on this by forcing a tie in the visible votes (there are ten of...

Well, we might be able to test that by splitting the vote: If we force a tie, and you really do get an extra lynch vote, Droideka will be lynched. Let me work my way through the thread and see where everything stands...

Henry, why don't you tell us what your role is? Your head is on the chopping block, so what do you have to lose? I vote to lynch Henry Link Don't worry, I'll check back before midnight, with plenty of time to change it.

Belay that order! After assessing evidence I have recently received, I can confirm: VikeStep IS the Fortune Teller. (But damn, those pieces really did paint the perfect picture of a brilliantly evil ploy---they really did all fall into place, I thought you were this supremely brilliant...

... and HERE we have a convenient defense against being caught in a lie by the real Seer: "Oh, there might be two; maybe we're both Seers (and maybe we both have different names)." Staxed, I'm concerned. I'm really concerned. This isn't adding up.

I'm not quite sold that VikeStep's the "Fortune Teller". Choosing Staxed was a strange call. You were very suspicious of me, and apparently planned to lynch me right out the gates today. So why didn't you target me, the player you were planning on lynching, to make sure you weren't about to...

A little more light on that "Pied Piper" team, from Merriam-Webster's definition of a 'pied piper' (which we shouldn't take too literally...): Merriam Webster definitions a charismatic person who attracts followers one that offers strong but delusive enticement a leader who makes...

My vote is tentative. Much like something smelled fishy about Peggle yesterday, I can't shake the feeling that VikeStep is a better player than this. (Despite all my reasoning, I'm operating from a position of general bafflement at the moment ;) )
