upset? no. Irritated, yes. I don't spawn items in and in my single player world I don't use gregtech. I find the idea that someone believes I'm cheating for not using GT to be frankly insulting and if you think I'll not defend that point then you really don't know me all that well.

So people playing on the Direwolf20 pack are all cheaters? You play within the boundaries of the gamemode you're in. Play on survival: spawning in items is cheating.

what the fuck are you on about? No... it really isn't. If someone does that then yes I would call that cheating. Play the game as it's intended to be played. If you wanna play Gregtech fine, go for it. If you don't, fine, go for it. Neither way is cheating and if anyone calls either cheating...

With this logic, choosing anything other than Hardcore is cheating. With this logic, lets say you decide to start playing Bioshock or whatever, using any difficulty setting other than the hardest one is "cheating" That logic is not only flawed, it's bloody idiotic.

Yes, if you don't want it to replace things (by replace I mean changing recipies) then either dig into his configs or use Velotican's premade configs. If you are only removing mods then you will never cause ID issues.

What? No, you didn't. There is NO way to measure difficulty in minecraft. None. Attributing difficulty to time spent is plain wrong. Edit: other than the afformentioned mob fighting.

If one is playing on a server, then that is a wholely valid comparison. If one is not, then who gives a shit what modpack you use because you can edit any mods in/out that you like. The question "what should I use" is completely irrelevant.

Except I'm not trying to say something like x mod is harder than y mod. Yes, you can say that for every aspect of minecraft, but I'm not the one saying that any mod or the lack of any mod is cheating.

you mistake "easier" with "less tedius" seriously, gathering resources is NOT hard. The ONLY thing in modded minecraft that can be called "hard" or "easy" are things like killing mobs. That's it. Killing a zombie is easier than killing a skeleton. It's easier if you have amazing armour. Etc...
