BetterFPS, FPSPlus, Optifine, and Fastcraft can all possibly improve your FPS (google their names and they should pop up). Your CPU is a little on the low end and we don't know much about your GPU either.

What do your client logs say upon disconnect? And JourneyMap is not needed server side for clients to run JourneyMap either. It is simply there to let server owners modify how their player's clientside JourneyMap configs go. So you could disable radar if you wanted. Otherwise, try removing it...

When you say "low", what value do you mean? Also, you can have the best of all personal computers, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the JVM is going to utilize everything available to it.

What Cptqrk said, the biggest thing will be ID changes which will completely blow up everything (unless you want to manually change every single block ID (while adding and removing some) in the level.dat to match the correct infinity version and spend hours and hours getting things to work right).

Are there RF Provider cards (can't quite remember the card name, but it is different from the normal transportation cards) at each of the pipes connected to the machines that need power?

This does not provide us with any information about what could of happened to cause this. What was going on before the rollback? Did a crash occur or did the player do something? Console logs or player logs may be helpful.
