I think it's so that Minecraft would actually run on 64bit Java.

That is because LegitNeek is just distributing it with permission from... who actually made the textures.

No LegitNeek did not make the Sphax add-on. He merely posted the link to it. The textures were done by Sparkst3r and others.

This really isn't the place to ask this. You will have to bring this issue with the mod author. In other words, post this on the forum thread for Advanced Machines (which is on the ic2 fourms). Also, shift click with a lever to place it to an advanced machine.

Personally, I think the more texture packs that want to support FTB, the better. It gives people more choice. So far, it's only Sphax and Soartex that want to support it. I personally want Dokucraft to support FTB but I might have to over the the Minecraft forums and ask them to support it...:P

I believe you should ask in the OCD minecraft forums. It's them that have to want to support it (and future versions of the pack) before it can be added to the FTB pack.

Is this on a server or SSP?
