Extremely fast animations

I got the beta 0.2.1 and i noticed that the animations for fire, lava, water etc are very, very fast. Is this intentional?

That's the update in Minecraft, Vanilla itself, freaked me out as well.

Nope, Slowpoke recently updated it to Beta 0.2

I'm afraid it isn't. I just tested it and FTB seems to have way faster animations.

Really? It does it for me in normal Vanilla as well might be something to do with graphic drivers? Meh, I'll look into it when I can be bothered

In the latest version of minecraft they broke the particle effects
