    I don't think Fraps plays well with the FTB launcher. My advice would be to transfer the mod pack into MultiMC and record it that way.

    Are you using optifine? If you are, try removing it. I find whenever there's texture glitches/bugs, it's usually optifine.

    Maybe try transfer the FTB mod pack into MultiMC and launch it via MultiMC? Does that work?

    Do you have Optifine installed? I find when textures glitch or flicker, it's probably something to do with Optifine.

    Are you going to be using Windows 7 or 8? For Windows 7, Windows Security Essentials is all you need. For Windows 8, you don't need to do anything!
