    Don't they call it energized glowstone? Maybe a pipe filled with this would energize the item to transport incredibly quickly, so fast that it seems to us to be instantaneous?

    depends on what you're transporting. If it's things coming out of te machines then you dont. Also, just use golems :D I don't see where you get that logic from
