    Does it have that same exact behavior when you run it on a server? The reason I ask is in SSP the game pauses when in the menu, in SMP, it doesn't.

    Yeah, I got nothing. Only thing I have left to suggest is to make absolutely sure you're running Java 7 45, updated vid card drivers, and have the latest version of the pack. Maybe try to install FTB in a completely different location. Maybe a different drive even if possible.

    You don't need Optifine. That link was to the Soartex beta pack. Nothing to do with Optifine.

    You have got something going seriously wrong to have that kind of framerate on that setup. My system is about the same and run a steady 60fps on the 1.6.4 packs. Windows 7 x64 SP1 Java 7 Update 45 64-bit AMD FX 4130 Quad-Core Processor at 3.8GHz 2GB RAM (I had my other 2GB stick go out on me)...

    Have you installed Calclavia Core and Universal Electricity Core? This mod is dependent on Calclavia Core and on Universal Electricity Core! You MUST install it for the mod to run properly! - taken from http://calclavia.com/mffs/downloads/

    FTB Computer?

    For FTB that setup is more than enough. Ppl telling you that you need 8GB+ to run these packs needs their head examined. Now, if you plan on doing more gaming outside of FTB. A little more RAM would be nice, and I don't recommend the GTX650. It's a bit weak.

    FTB Horizons crash upon world loading. [Resolved]

    I run JABBA barrels with AE storage buses just fine. Although I do have MFR installed. Maybe this only happens when MFR isn't installed.
