Strange. The first time you add the mod pack using private pack code HappyDiggersAMP, it shows you a default test pack for some reason. If you exit the FTB Client and start it again, it shows you HappyDiggers AMP and is able to launch it. So in short: please try again :)

Glad you found it already :) You can change almost all the things GregTech changes so feel free to turn off those features if you prefer a somewhat easier tech tree.
