The real trick is seeing if the file names of mods stay the same. I'm worried we'll have another massive 2-3 month conversion if all the mods tweak their file names to have underscores. Woo! Underscores!

@Biggles: I remade the lightmap in late 1.5 and it's now in the 1.6 pack. I think it will fix the problem with those bricks.

Conversions and updates are coming along far more quickly with the help of LAGIdiot, popwebz and artdude. They have really turned the tide on this 1.5 conversion. @Wafflier: I doubt Mojang will be distributing the resource packs, so people like you and me would still need to install each resource pack individually. I think the FTB launcher will just need a path change.. place the mod zips in assets instead of mods.

I find it hard to imagine textures being broken as much as they were in 1.5. For that reason alone I'm going to bet it won't be as bad... but it's still going to be frustrating.
