[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

We usually find them randomly under trees in the Savanna biomes. Then once in Erebus they are a lot easier to find.

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

FYI, on our server, we found the default config for immibis chunk loading to be very buggy until we turned B:chunkloader.bypassForgeChunkLimits to true from false in config/immibis.cfg ... When it was set to false, it seemed to only load 25 chunks for the whole server, no matter what. Like it...

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

Right click in the top of it, in the bowl itself. Sometimes it's easiest to jump up on top of it and look down. Hmmm... That's probably too obvious. I just tested in 1.0.18 and it works just fine. Sometimes the game gets out of sync and it's filled but doesn't look filled. Perhaps this is the...

bambuckets work just fine for me. What version are you on?

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

I'm noticing that very few (none?) of the autocrafters support the low level wood & stone pick / axe recipes that use a pick or axe as a component of the recipes. Most consume the whole item instead of just damaging it. We've tried Steve's Workshop, Steve's Factory Manager, Cyclic Assembler...

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

Seeing the sun is bad, and mesa is a little hot (so has less chance to grow). The big thing that seems to matter is having enough water. I'm not 100% sure what the sweet spot is on water yet, but I place mine in the middle of a huge pool of water (10x10) and they seem to eventually grow. First a...

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

Does anyone have any experience with crop automation with this pack? It looks like with automation, no seeds are dropped. So you operate at a net loss. This is probably because of the setting for Hunger Overhaul which has seeds at 0. Currently I'm taking some of the crop and converting them...

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

For bamboo shoots, biome temperature (hot is better, but not too hot), whether it can see the sun (sun isn't as good), and lots of water all help with bamboo shoot growth. (Also, I think bamboo shoots didn't work until 1.0.15+, so if you're on an old version of the pack, an update will be...

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

A couple of things I've noticed. Looks like the leadstone helm recipe is the same as the leadstone boots recipe. Also, dense nether ore isn't real nether ore, so it's always safe to mine. You can go around cherry picking dense ores safely if you want. Maybe turn off dense ore for the nether...

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

I think it's all armor. It has to do with Infinite Inventory being added in 1.0.15+. Same thing happened to me with my Red Matter armor.

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

Yeah, we started over this weekend with a slightly tweaked pack without Project E and a slightly nerfed Big Reactors. Should be interesting.

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

The main problem I had with Project E is that with it, there's no need to do any other creative ways to get resources. No need to ever create a quarry because once you have one ingot, you didn't need more, you could just pretty easily create more of what you need. It was just creative mode. If...

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

Not sure how any pack that includes Project E could really be considered balanced. :) The progression in the pack is great and it's fun, but not really balanced. I agree it's one of the best packs with a nice unique progression system.

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

The bamboo torches give 2 (dupe) if you hit the base and 1 if you hit the top, consistently. You can point at a grass block like 1 step away and press both mouse buttons at once to place / break quickly and get a ton of bamboo torches quickly.

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

A couple of comments on the pack. My group is pretty far along and we're liking it a lot. But, it's definitely on the easy side. My group is talking about starting again with some config changes next time. We'll probably remove Project E. It made things way, way too easy. We hadn't really used...

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

We ended up removing InfiniteInvo from the new update on our server. It was pretty buggy for us. (Bought slots would revert back to unbought, screwed up the UI on things like the Dimensional Transceivers, armor was all gone when we first logged in, etc.)

[1.7.10] Phoenix Reborn [Tech/Magic] [Progression] [Ores]

I'm getting a frequent, annoying WheatWeevil crash in The Erebus on my server. (See http://pastebin.com/eqB0qtx8) It looks like it was fixed in v0.2pre12 (http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/220698-the-erebus/files/2223357) according to their github tracker, but the pack is still on...

[1.7.10] Wanderlust Reloaded - Questing Adventure [Magic-Tech] [HQM - over 250 Quests] [Tabula Rasa]

I suspect you must have completed it in an earlier version of the pack when the backback chestplate option was true or something (not sure if backback chestplate was ever true, but that's the only thing that makes sense to me). Backpacks currently don't take up a chest slot (which is great...

[1.7.10] Wanderlust Reloaded - Questing Adventure [Magic-Tech] [HQM - over 250 Quests] [Tabula Rasa]

Like I said, I know how to get it, and I've obtained it. But when you obtain it that legit way, the ender backpack is NEVER in your inventory, so the quest doesn't register. That's the issue.

[1.7.10] Wanderlust Reloaded - Questing Adventure [Magic-Tech] [HQM - over 250 Quests] [Tabula Rasa]

That doesn't answer the question. If you get the ender backpack legitimately, the pack is NEVER in your inventory, so the quest never registers as completed. I've gotten the pack the correct way, (I won't spoil it here), but I'm wondering what the trick is (if it's even possible), to complete...
